April 13th

Niagara Falls

When we told the girls we were going to Boston for the Marathon, Aly asked to go to the American Girl Store and Skyeler asked to go to Niagara Falls.  We told Skye that it was too far out of the way to the Falls.  It was a great surprise, then, when we took a detour on our way and stopped to see them.  It was the first time seeing them for me and the girls.  It was beautiful.  And Skyeler was very happy with the surprise!

April 12th

Here is Dan with his basket of goodies and his card.  So many people are praying for him and rooting him on  for the marathon!  It's so very exciting!  We leave in the morning!

I was packing for Boston and forgot to take a picture today.  

I had two pictures for tomorrow so I will post one here.

Today Skyeler and I took Matt & Britney's engagement pictures.  What a blast!  They are a great couple and so fun.

Ok, so I didn't really take this picture of Dan and Aly today.  It was taken a couple of days ago.  However, I fell behind (again), and I had two good pictures from the 6th.  Aly is practicing for a 5K that is coming up in a couple weeks.  Dan is helping her train.  It was a great picture of them running together!

Happy Easter!

We enjoyed a beautiful sunrise this morning during our Easter Sunrise Service.  It only peeked through for a few moments.  I grumble and groan and complain about getting up so early, but it was worth it.

The Doctor Who magazine we ordered for the girls at Christmas was discontinued, so we ordered a different one.  Here is Aly devouring the latest magazine to come in the mail.  We LOVE Doctor Who!

April 6th

Cheryl and I had hoped to scrapbook when she visited for Spring Break.  In fact, I had high hopes of working on Skyeler's Senior Album.  Cheryl and I got nothing accomplished.  I don't even think we broke out the supplies.  Skyeler, on the other hand, worked on her own Senior Album and got quite a bit accomplished.  She laughed at us :)

Strawberries are blooming!

I think that they are blooming earlier this year than last.
